An account is only required if you want to post, save, share, collect, or comment on notes or interact with other users. When you create an account, you may need to provide account information such as Email address, password, display name and phone number. 

If you log in to CloudyRice using a third-party service like Apple, certain information like your email address may be retrieved from that service.

We collect user-generated content, including published notes, saved drafts, comments, messages, reports, collections, text, hashtags. We collect data on activities like sharing content, liking posts, saving notes, and submitting reports.

With your permission, we collect text and image information from your device’s clipboard. 

You may opt to provide us additional information, such as when filing out forms and surveys or seeking customer support. 

Information we automatically collect

When you use the Service, we may collect your IP address, user agent, device ID information, device settings, screen resolution, mobile carrier name, and battery state. 

If you choose to share your location on the Service, we may collect information about your approximate location.

To provide a more tailored in-app experience, we utilize cookies and other similar technologies to collect user data such as your preferred language, theme, and other custom settings. This information helps us personalize the experience to your preferences.

We gather metadata related to the content you create. Metadata includes identity details and time stamps pertaining to the content and user activities, which users may not see displayed. We use this to link posted content back to the associated user accounts for tracing purposes.

Your account data may be associated with your activities within the app. We might utilize that combined information to serve you ads catered to your interests.

Your Rights and Choices

You can access and modify your account and user information through the settings within our application.

You have the option to delete your account through the application settings whenever you want. However, notes, comments, replies, and messages submitted before deleting your account will remain visible to other users unless that specific content has been removed first. We might also keep some information about you when required by regulations or if we have valid business reasons to do so.

You may choose not to receive marketing and advertising emails by using the "unsubscribe" or opt-out option presented within those messages.

You may opt out of receiving push notifications by adjusting notification setting on your device at any time

You may turn off location services for our application on your phone to avoid collection of specific geolocation information.

Information on Children

The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. Should we discover that personal data belonging to a child has been processed without the proper consent of a parent or legal guardian, we will promptly remove said personal information.
